About Rudrashtakam :
Shri Rudrāṣṭakam श्री रुद्राष्टकम, is a composition in devotion of Lord Shiva (शिव जी) ,a wonderful song composed by the Hindu Bhakti poet Tulsidas “तुलसीदास”.
Tulsidas composed this eulogy in in Uttar Pradesh, this is one of the most popular stotras of lord Shiva.
The devotional hymn “Rudrashtakam” appears in the Uttara Kand of the celebrated Ram Charit Manas.
The Rudrashtakam is lucid and simple in style and plays an instrumental role in the Lord Shiva’s worship and is considered to be most powerful song of lord Shiva .
